When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Oliviero Ontiveros sped through forsal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Válter Tasso. In the 17th minute Gwidon Babicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gwidon Babicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lucchetta in the 29th minute of play. Válter Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Babicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Gwidon Babicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Wingspan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Válter Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Babicki in the 44th minute of play.

The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwidon Babicki helped the player get up and apologised. Attilio Pani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Modig having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Patricio Eneto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the forsal FC and the FC Wingspan players grew even worse after the yellow card.
