Xaime Campoamor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sotero Serena in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Evarado saved Hermosillo FC from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Guter Llinares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Jesco in the 19th minute of play forced El Pasteral F.C's goalkeeper Xaime Campoamor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Sotero Serena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaime Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Result 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltasar Jesco made a kick off.
