In the 16th minute, Fernando Hierro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Skaradowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beat Vid having to make a save. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Åkerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beat Vid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Åkerman ran back to his position shaking his head. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Åkerman in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Aioros FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Augusto Lauro hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Philip Åkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save GrassNuts FC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Miguel Núñez in the 87th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
