Natan Labrouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Placidi in the 3rd minute of the match. Natan Labrouche came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Glasgow Rangers FC's Armando Natalucci. But to his dismay, Armando Natalucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reemy Van Goitsenhoven to maneuver through the defense. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Riccitelli in the 8th minute of play. Armando Natalucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Natan Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natan Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Natan Labrouche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ettore Placidi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Natan Labrouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Lauaxeta's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Ettore Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Natalucci came free, but Natan Labrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natan Labrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Natalucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Royal Antwerp F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natan Labrouche should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nestor Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natan Labrouche. Natan Labrouche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Natan Labrouche came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Glasgow Rangers FC's Nestor Lauaxeta. But to his dismay, Nestor Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Natan Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Placidi in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Yves Justens got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Justens to maneuver through the defense. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Antwerp F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Glasgow Rangers FC's Nestor Lauaxeta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natan Labrouche. That made the score 0-15 after 82 minutes of play. In the 85th minute, Ettore Placidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natan Labrouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. When Ward De Wilde fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Antwerp F.C.'s protests and gave Ward De Wilde a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward De Wilde to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Carlo Attili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-17. Natan Labrouche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Lauaxeta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natan Labrouche came out and tried to block the shot, but Nestor Lauaxeta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-18 in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Carlo Attili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natan Labrouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19.
