In the 39th minute of the match Free Julian Assange! got a corner. E➣ PINCHARRATA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik-Jan Pacolet ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yu Jian Tian to make the kick off. Yu Jian Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Mignolet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
