An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 20th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Dave Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jannic Roukeloes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 34th minute of play. Simon Mignolet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Natalucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 38th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Dave Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jannic Roukeloes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Clemente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Camillo Zacchia hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Placidi was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Mastrocola made a great header on Glasgow Rangers FC's corner, it was just that Free Julian Assange!'s Simon Mignolet managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 55th minute, Glasgow Rangers FC's Antonio Mastrocola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simon Mignolet. Simon Mignolet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Free Julian Assange!'s Daniël Boffin was substituted for Tom Araya. If Daniël Boffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Nahuel Molina replaced Camillo Zacchia. Free Julian Assange!'s Stijn Verdonckt was substituted for Jan-Simon Matthieu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 67th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Dave Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo De Paolis made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carlo Attili however managed to control. The nice shot from Carlo Attili in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Simon Mignolet had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Simon Mignolet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Mastrocola. A collision led to Free Julian Assange! getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nuno Darroja hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore Placidi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Mignolet. That made the score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Glasgow Rangers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
