Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugó Révész kicked off to start the match. Hugó Révész took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Hugó Révész had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Sosa. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugó Révész was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Mircea Lipan in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Keszi Athletic's Anton Kutnjak. If Hugó Révész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Melis in the 21st minute of play. Mircea Lipan made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pompiliu Cordescu immediately put the ball in play. Hugó Révész's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Sosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes in the game Mircea Lipan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ivan Moșanu. Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Tuleiu in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Keszi Athletic defense, Frank Melis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Taffarel. The Keszi Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaios Vourtzoumis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Melis in the 45th minute of play. Keszi Athletic's István Gyurkovics was substituted for Vaios Vourtzoumis. Keszi Athletic's Kornél Kerekes was substituted for Anton Kutnjak.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebiu Tuleiu was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Frank Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Melis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Hugó Révész who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keszi Athletic's Márton Lengyel was substituted for Özkan İlhan. In the 58th minute of the match Keszi Athletic got a corner. FC Inter Sibiu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabin Calderon ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Frank Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Mircea Lipan in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Keszi Athletic's Zsolt Veress. Hugó Révész received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sebastián Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Keszi Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Márton Lengyel. Thanks to some nice moves Pompiliu Cordescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Claudinho Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Chumo made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pompiliu Cordescu however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Keszi Athletic's zone, Frank Melis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal and Frank Melis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugó Révész in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pompiliu Cordescu got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Taffarel having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when István Gyurkovics came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Gyurkovics in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Keszi Athletic were awarded a corner. Sabin Calderon went to the cornerflag to take it. Keszi Athletic's Csaba Sarkady was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastián Sosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Gyurkovics in the 97th minute of play.
