Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) 4 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Tuleiu came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Pompiliu Cordescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eduardo Baiano to make any attempt to save it. Frank Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Baiano having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, FC Inter Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Fikus to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Pompiliu Cordescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Inter Sibiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Cordescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Melis got free with Eduardo Baiano in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Tuleiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ivan Moșanu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eduardo Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Inter Sibiu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragoş Bitang got free with Eduardo Baiano in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Moșanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mendonça came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Cordescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Ribeiro. In the 43rd minute Eusebiu Tuleiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Frank Melis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Eduardo Baiano to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jaime Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Richard Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dragoş Bitang sped through Inter Gala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Baiano. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Melis in the 61st minute of the match. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Bitang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Inter Sibiu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dragoş Bitang hit a great ball. Inter Gala's Heinz Stalder was substituted for Jaime Rodrigues. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Sibiu's Dragoş Bitang got a free kick in the 68th minute. Sandrinho Fontes's late challenge caught a FC Inter Sibiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. Sandrinho Fontes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Cordescu came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter Gala's Donato Capixaba was substituted for Karl-Magnus Biörkquist. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Melis in the 88th minute of the match. Eusebiu Tuleiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Baiano having to interfere. Inter Gala's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
