Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes, Roland Debkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA and the Brothers of Mercy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Debkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Pozorski having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA defense, Håkan Lindgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Pozorski. The RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Pozorski should have stopped the shot. Wawrzyniec Pozorski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Håkan Lindgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 24th play minute Håkan Lindgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wawrzyniec Pozorski. 4-0. In the 27th minute Håkan Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Wawrzyniec Pozorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Ahlerot to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Lindgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Pozorski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Lindgren ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 36th minute of play forced RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Pozorski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Pozorski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Håkan Lindgren notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wawrzyniec Pozorski. Wawrzyniec Pozorski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Roger Strömberg. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Håkan Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The wind increased when Håkan Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. Wawrzyniec Pozorski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Lindgren went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 54th minute of the match. Bogumil Marchefka kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Brothers of Mercy's Patrik Skarkman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stanislaw Adamus in the 56 minute of the game. Stanislaw Adamus's late challenge caught a Brothers of Mercy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Adamus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Stanislaw Adamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wawrzyniec Pozorski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkan Lindgren's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Brothers of Mercy's Gabriel Saliba was substituted for Roger Strömberg. 70 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindgren came free, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Pozorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's zone, Patrik Skarkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Pozorski came out of the goal and Patrik Skarkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wawrzyniec Pozorski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogumil Marchefka got free with Markus Nyman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Lindgren in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Pozorski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes, Jörgen Hedberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brothers of Mercy and the RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Jörgen Hedberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Dariusz Kasperowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Kasperowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brothers of Mercy had played much better football throughout.
