Inter Gala's Jaime Rodrigues was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 9th minute, Richard Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Pozorski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Pozorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Souto. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Jorginho Valle got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Fontes. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edgar Souto hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Matela to maneuver through the defense. Wawrzyniec Pozorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Ribeiro during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Cristóvão Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Richard Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Edgar Souto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wawrzyniec Pozorski. The goal made the score 3-0.

The wind increased when Jurand Hyska made the kick off in the second half. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Jaime Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Richard Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wawrzyniec Pozorski. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mendonça in the 69th minute of play forced RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Pozorski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Richard Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Ribeiro in the 76th minute of play forced RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Pozorski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter Gala's Gustavo Salles was substituted for Donato Capixaba. Olgierd Matela kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Pozorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Stalder in the 83rd minute of play. Wawrzyniec Pozorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mendonça in the 84th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Pozorski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinz Stalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA defense, Richard Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Pozorski. The RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Pozorski should have stopped the shot. Wawrzyniec Pozorski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Heinz Stalder made a precise shot to the right of Wawrzyniec Pozorski. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There was no doubt that Inter Gala were the better team. Inter Gala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
