An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Santio in the 24th minute of play forced Ayahuasca F.C.'s goalkeeper Derwin Cubas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ayahuasca F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derwin Cubas should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Augusto Santio made a precise shot to the right of Derwin Cubas. In the 45th minute, Bembe Gormaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Bustillos made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Amato Vila however managed to control. Everardo Joey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Derwin Cubas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Ayahuasca F.C.'s Derwin Cubas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Efraim in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff City FC's zone, Bembe Gormaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xencio Millan came out of the goal and Bembe Gormaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Efraim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Derwin Cubas having to make a save. With his leg Derwin Cubas managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Cardiff City FC's Julian Efraim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Cardiff City FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ayahuasca F.C..
