After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Ariel Delfino got a free kick in the 15th minute. Copérnico F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnulfo Hurko in the 45th minute. Copérnico F.C.'s Lucas Luar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Udoka Ochegbulu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Udoka Ochegbulu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Kinsen in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Copérnico F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chigo Abdu made a kick off. Agustin Raymon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oyakhilome Naeche came free, but Amadeo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Udoka Ochegbulu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
