In the 3rd minute, Wilfredo Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Martin Rito notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pauliström's Malcolm Wall. Malcolm Wall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rito in the 9th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Martin Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Albert Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Malcolm Wall managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivar Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. Martin Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Jacinto. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Rito made a kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Magnus Björk with Albert Andberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Martin Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Zinon Kazakopoulos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Melin got free with Tobias Elizardo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Martin Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcolm Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Melin in the 68th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sarmiento de Resistencia! In the 76th minute Martin Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pauliström's zone, Martin Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal and Martin Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarmiento de Resistencia had won after a very even match.
