The YR☆Sporting Alexandria fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Klement Golaszewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, Cezar Alexiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Golaszewski in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Folke Melin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krestoffer Grahavn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klement Golaszewski scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Dumitru Hârțan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Klement Golaszewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Malcolm Wall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Klement Golaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Folke Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauliström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Melin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ingvar Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliström's protests and gave Ingvar Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Melin was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute of the match, Cezar Alexiu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Malcolm Wall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Cezar Alexiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Hârțan in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Mădălin Lepuș got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dumitru Hârțan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Dumitru Hârțan. But to his dismay, Dumitru Hârțan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to YR☆Sporting Alexandria getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cezar Alexiu hit a great ball. YR☆Sporting Alexandria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
