Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gianluca Lapadula started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Alexander Shaw successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute, Gianluca Lapadula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jordy Dirks was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 10 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Egun Lisundia came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Angel Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Gol. 20 minutes into the match, Gianluca Lapadula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Čech. SCs StarS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Lapadula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when AC Papicho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mika Ackerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordy Dirks was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 32nd minute SCs StarS were awarded a corner. Florian Hekman went to the cornerflag to take it. SCs StarS's Florian Hekman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Shaw in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 42nd minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half AC Papicho were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SCs StarS made a substitution. Henk Zijden replaced Edgar Reitsema. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Gol was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, AC Papicho's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Alexander Shaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SCs StarS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Hekman in the 62nd minute. Florian Hekman made a great header on SCs StarS's corner, it was just that AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw managed to reach the ball for a save. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Dirks in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, AC Papicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Kisiel to maneuver through the defense. Fryderyk Kisiel kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Hekman in the 73rd minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Dirks in the 78th minute of play. When Mika Ackerman came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AC Papicho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mika Ackerman couldn't finish the play. Alexander Shaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Dirks in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AC Papicho's Ciro Sedeni got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute, Thiago Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
