The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlomagno Vellosillo. Jörn Holm struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sebastián Torrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakcroft Thrashers. In the 20th minute Daniel Dănilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fertus Rigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Max Stevens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christoffer Modig. Max Stevens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 28 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Jerrold. Oakcroft Thrashers's Ian Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Benigno Jerrold got a free kick in the 36th minute. Daniel Dănilă, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Joao Zuazo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after GreenUnited's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry Ekeberg took the corner. 47 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Gustafsson came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GreenUnited made a substitution. Yaman Akar replaced Max Stevens. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Wright was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Vincze. In the 55th minute, Yaman Akar made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Akar in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Yaman Akar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico got control of the ball when Svante Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Holm to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Holm. 82 minutes into the game, GreenUnited's Max Farr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Modig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 95 minutes, Fertus Rigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GreenUnited and the Oakcroft Thrashers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fertus Rigues to maneuver through the defense. Ian Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GreenUnited were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oakcroft Thrashers for a fine match.
