The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rea Selbert during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute of the match Filip Flink shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerold Zollt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ovidiu Poenaru could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Linus Svanström however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pål Askestät hit a great ball. Filip Flink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerold Zollt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Linus Svanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthieu Richardot's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 36 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Hampus Johansson came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Blanchaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Svanström was a little too slow when Matthieu Richardot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Average Joes's zone, Ovidiu Poenaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Svanström came out of the goal and Ovidiu Poenaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Rea Selbert got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Average Joes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Kursawe was slow to take the kick. During this time DJK Füchtel Vechta's players had a chance to rest. When DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ovidiu Poenaru in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Average Joes's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute DJK Füchtel Vechta were awarded a corner. Chris Kursawe went to the cornerflag to take it. Linus Svanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 68th minute of play. If Matthieu Richardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Poenaru in the 74th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Linus Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Mattias Finnman got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Finnman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Average Joes defense, Matthieu Richardot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Linus Svanström. The Average Joes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Linus Svanström should have stopped the shot. Kasper Bodin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ovidiu Poenaru made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Svanström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidiu Poenaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Bodin to maneuver through the defense. Matthieu Richardot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Svanström having to interfere. DJK Füchtel Vechta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
