SCs StarS's Thiago Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute Marcin Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Andrychowski in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Andrychowski in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved SCs StarS from getting behind. When SCs StarS's Thiago Gol in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KM Efektowni's goalie prevented a goal. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Andrychowski in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Thiago Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, one of KM Efektowni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. KM Efektowni:s Steven Wadham showed great skill when he stopped Florian Hekman:s penalty. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Kornecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, KM Efektowni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Cizeski to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Wadham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Marcin Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Lato made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucjan Popowicz immediately put the ball in play. Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Thiago Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 47th minute of play forced KM Efektowni's goalkeeper Steven Wadham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Co Scholten during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, Co Scholten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcin Andrychowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, KM Efektowni's Jan Cizeski got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, SCs StarS's Florian Hekman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steven Wadham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SCs StarS reached it. Steven Wadham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Gol in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steven Wadham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Andrychowski in the 75th minute of play. Steven Wadham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 78 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SCs StarS's Thiago Gol fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Steven Wadham had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Florian Hekman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawel Kornecki in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, KM Efektowni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Kornecki to maneuver through the defense. Steven Wadham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Pawel Kornecki struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Petr Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KM Efektowni. Steven Wadham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, KM Efektowni's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Steven Wadham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steven Wadham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Dirks in the 100th minute of play. There was no doubt that SCs StarS were the better team. SCs StarS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
