Kurt Ahrem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mariusz Zdeb made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Mariusz Zdeb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14th minute Jeferson Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Heyckendorf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Mansilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Björkö BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Mansilha took the corner. In the 37thth minute of the game Alex Mansilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björkö BK's Anders Lundin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reinhard Baum, made in the 41st minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Friberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Mansilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Zdeb having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Kurt Ahrem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Zdeb. Björkö BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Ahrem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Kurt Ahrem scored 6-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Zdeb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariusz Zdeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academica Pulheim. For all the effort they put into the match, the Björkö BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academica Pulheim.
