With a little luck, FC Töve's Åke Rudberg got control of the ball when Tião Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Club Atlético Talleres's protests and gave Torrey Matthews a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Talleres getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Torrey Matthews hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Dan Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Hellkvist in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, FC Töve's Ingmar Hellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Ekaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 91st minute of the match FC Töve got a corner. Club Atlético Talleres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Billock ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Töve's Jim Billock to fire away a dangerous shot which Felipe Ekaitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Steve Wonder hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz got control of the ball when Ingmar Hellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes, Steve Wonder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Talleres and the FC Töve players grew even worse after the yellow card.
