The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Tomozei didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Hernández in the 8th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marius Tănasă hit a great ball. Sandro Cavareda was a little too slow when Nichifor Aelenei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sandro Cavareda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Aelenei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Cavareda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Aelenei in the 17th minute of the match. When Lucrețiu Domuță fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raureni Academy's protests and gave Lucrețiu Domuță a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Lucrețiu Domuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristinel Tomozei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Maria Cousiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Marius Tănasă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sandro Cavareda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Richmond were furious when Rafael Maria Cousiño was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rafael Maria Cousiño kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute Cristinel Tomozei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavi Diaz de León was the one to do the kick off. Marius Tănasă scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Cavareda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Nichifor Aelenei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Cavareda. AFC Richmond's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Aelenei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. AFC Richmond made a substitution. Enrique Arostegui replaced Felipe Hernández. AFC Richmond's Sandro Cavareda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Aelenei in the 62nd minute of play. AFC Richmond's Aníbal Marraccini was substituted for Fernando Tolhauzsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavi Diaz de León in the 68th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Celada to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Marraccini came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Esteban José Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xavi Diaz de León had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Cavareda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Timofte in the 78th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Richmond's Aníbal Marraccini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mădălin Lunca. That made the score 4-1 after 79 minutes of play. Sandro Cavareda came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Raureni Academy's Marius Tănasă. But to his dismay, Marius Tănasă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 89 minutes of play, Raureni Academy's Nichifor Aelenei made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Cavareda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Cavareda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorel Balint went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Sandro Cavareda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Tomozei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Raureni Academy had played much better football throughout.
