The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Van Nistelrooy in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Oliszewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbert Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Van Nistelrooy in the 39th minute of the match. Laércio Trigo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Leo Campana sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Van Nistelrooy made the kick off in the second half. Leo Campana might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Campana ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo Craques fc were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after KS LEW Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 程鸿奕 took the corner. In the 75th match minute, Deportivo Craques fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Lago to maneuver through the defense. The coaching staff of Deportivo Craques fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Floridong had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Paul Floridong hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Misiewicz. 91 minutes into the match, Edgar Degas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Deportivo Craques fc's Laércio Trigo. Laércio Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herbert Oliszewski made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Van Nistelrooy sent off a good shot on target.
