After some careless play in the AFC Ajax defense, Jude Monkhouse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 彭桦旭. The AFC Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 彭桦旭 should have stopped the shot. 彭桦旭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Licerio in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Dé Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 彭桦旭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Jude Monkhouse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 彭桦旭 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 彭桦旭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Anderson Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. 彭桦旭 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Ajax's 彭桦旭 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 41st minute of play. 彭桦旭 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Monkhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by 袁源珂. 彭桦旭 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Paiva in the 43rd minute of the match. 彭桦旭 came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Várzea F.C.'s Jude Monkhouse. But to his dismay, Jude Monkhouse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The AFC Ajax players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Várzea F.C. were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jude Monkhouse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dé Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 彭桦旭 came out and tried to block the shot, but Dé Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 64th minute. Anderson Paiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised 彭桦旭 67 minutes into the match. 彭桦旭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Dé Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of 彭桦旭. AFC Ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 76th minute, 俞鹏峰 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aloísio Secco might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 彭桦旭. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aloísio Secco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute of the match, Aloísio Secco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 彭桦旭 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. 俞鹏峰 hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Aloísio Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 彭桦旭 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jude Monkhouse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 彭桦旭 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. AFC Ajax's 彭桦旭 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Montenegro in the 90th minute of play. Jude Monkhouse struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. 彭桦旭 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Várzea F.C.. Marcos Roberto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Roberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Roberto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Várzea F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
