Percival Munhoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Percival Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 24th minute of play. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Vides to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arnaldo Gabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elpidio Francis scored 8-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percival Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Francis in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Munhoz saved Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG from getting behind. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Rafael Dalmu advanced and headed the ball into goal, 9-0 in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 10-0 when André Monclús sped through Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Percival Munhoz. Rafael Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Tasso in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, one of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG:s Percival Munhoz showed great skill when he stopped Miguel Prosperi:s penalty. 89 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Miguel Prosperi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percival Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 92nd minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Gabon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percival Munhoz was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Túlio Brasil's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Túlio Brasil hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, André Monclús had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival Munhoz. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Monclús was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. When the referee ended the match the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
