The audience thought a goal was coming when King Batistuta got free with Cecilio Polo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Batistuta in the 13th minute of the match. If Fábio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piara Turko in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Hanni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st match minute, Jacksonville 67 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven van Gessel to maneuver through the defense. When Zachary Zdrojowy came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the São Brás FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Zdrojowy couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Cruz in the 24th minute of play forced São Brás FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match Jacksonville 67 got a corner. São Brás FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven Horring ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jacksonville 67's Sven Horring to fire away a dangerous shot which Cecilio Polo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, São Brás FC's Fábio Valadares got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rogelio Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piara Turko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Piara Turko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Hanni was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Steven van Gessel hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save São Brás FC from getting a goal against them. After 41 played minutes São Brás FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Valadares. After 47 played minutes São Brás FC got a freekick which was hit by Piara Turko.

The wind increased when Oscar Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Pool in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Puskás in the 54th minute of play forced Jacksonville 67's goalkeeper Rogelio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, São Brás FC's Piara Turko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Hanni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rogelio Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piara Turko, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, King Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Polo.
