With his leg Ian Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Tetra Pack FC's Santo Lluterio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santo Lluterio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ian Melo came out and tried to block the shot, but Santo Lluterio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Lluterio got free with Ian Melo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Abella in the 40th minute of play. Santo Lluterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ian Melo made a huge save. Tetra Pack FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godfredo Baladi in the 43rd minute. Felipe Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Abella during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tetra Pack FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renan Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Lluterio in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Santo Lluterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Ian Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Lluterio in the 75th minute of play. Tetra Pack FC's Felipe Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Tetra Pack FC from getting a goal against them. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Porfirio in the 81st minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Santo Lluterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xanda FC's Ian Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Santo Lluterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Melo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Santo Lluterio notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Xanda FC's Ian Melo. Ian Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xanda FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tetra Pack FC.
