Despite this Rogelio Hanni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rogelio Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervásio Palhares went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Turko came free, but Rogelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São Brás FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomé Sampaio in the 48th minute. Gervásio Palhares was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Rogelio Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Palhares in the 59th minute of play. Cecilio Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by King Batistuta in the 61st minute. Rogelio Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Palhares in the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 minutes Jacksonville 67's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomé Sampaio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on São Brás FC's corner Tomé Sampaio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rogelio Hanni quite easily take care of the ball. São Brás FC's Robin Björkdal got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Piara Turko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Hanni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gervásio Palhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Hanni having to interfere. Cecilio Polo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when King Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. Piara Turko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rogelio Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Burak Öz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo. Cecilio Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to São Brás FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tomé Sampaio hit a great ball. The supporters of Jacksonville 67 booed when São Brás FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piara Turko didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jacksonville 67 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for São Brás FC.
