Tetra Pack FC's Arsenio Ordono quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henrique Ramos, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Angelo Cefero took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Melo. Ian Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Xanda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Cefero came free, but Ian Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Cefero took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Melo. Ian Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 18 minutes, Angelo Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tetra Pack FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cefero in the 22nd minute of play. Tetra Pack FC's Aaron Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Guedes in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xanda FC's Henrique Ramos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tetra Pack FC's Arsenio Ordono got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Tetra Pack FC's Angelo Cefero made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Tetra Pack FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Norberto da Silva made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Cefero in the 53rd minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Cefero in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's Angelo Cefero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Tetra Pack FC's Angelo Cefero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Cefero in the 77th minute of the match. Ian Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80thth minute of the game Angelo Cefero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xanda FC's Ian Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Melo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. With a left leg Ian Melo saved Xanda FC from getting behind. Tetra Pack FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
