The referee ignored Devoto club social's protests and gave Adan Juvenal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Devoto club social getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Zé Paulo Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Horado was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 88 minutes of play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Joélson Amaral made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geraldo Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
