Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Aragones in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Aragones in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitch Lauwers saved Minion Mim from getting behind. Waldemar Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mitch Lauwers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. São José City - FSCMZ's Lino Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 20th minute of play. São José City - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Aragones in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Genaro Aragones got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mitch Lauwers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lino Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will Wipp in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Genaro Aragones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mitch Lauwers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. At last the ball reached Cássio da Silva at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Minion Mim. 0-3. Primo Mazzola hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Aragones in the 66th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Genaro Aragones in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 69th minute, Genaro Aragones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São José City - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Genaro Aragones took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mitch Lauwers. Mitch Lauwers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Aragones in the 82nd minute of the match. Terry De Hoef hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. São José City - FSCMZ's Cássio da Silva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Terry De Hoef, made in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. São José City - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
