Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquiles Urtsin started the match with the kick off. The Merengue FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Núñez in the 6th minute of play forced B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Urtsin's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Costa got free with Bayan Gugovski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute of the match Merengue FC got a corner. B.Z. F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ediberto Sampaio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Teles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, B.Z. F.C.'s Estevão Ponte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Gugovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Urtsin in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. In the 22nd minute of the match Benjamim Mota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Urtsin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Estevão Ponte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 26th playminute. 33 minutes into the match, Darwin Núñez notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles. Paulo Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Urtsin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgílio Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Paulo Teles made a huge save. After having played for 53 minutes, Estevão Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B.Z. F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Estevão Ponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Paulo Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aquiles Urtsins short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Paulo Teles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Urtsin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Paulo Teles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Virgílio Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Teles made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Darwin Núñez sent off a good shot on target. Aquiles Urtsin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Urtsin in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Virgílio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When B.Z. F.C.'s Virgílio Costa in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merengue FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Frances to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Sampaio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes B.Z. F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Loureiro. Aquiles Urtsin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Paulo Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darwin Núñez. The Merengue FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merengue FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
