Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Buciumii's Cristinel Gheară started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the DZ Blue defense, Cristinel Gheară kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Valentine. The DZ Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Valentine should have stopped the shot. If Dumitru Ghițulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute Dumitru Ghițulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Dumitru Ghițulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isidoro Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristinel Gheară might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Gheară ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Cristinel Gheară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 15th minute of the match. Dumitru Ghițulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Gheară's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Gheară in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Valentine saved DZ Blue from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Gheară in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 29th minute of play. Isidoro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Gheară in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Börje Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, one of DZ Blue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half FC Buciumii were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Smedfeldt made a kick off. Isidoro Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 54th minute. In the 54th match minute, DZ Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Koch to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in DZ Blue's zone, Dumitru Ghițulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Valentine came out of the goal and Dumitru Ghițulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's Ove Smedfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Grondzki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Dumitru Ghițulescu made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Dumitru Ghițulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Buciumii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. FC Buciumii's Cătălin Elchev was substituted for Adrían Addi. Pavel Balc might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Balc ran back to his position shaking his head. Pavel Balc struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Isidoro Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buciumii. Mugur Nițisor might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mugur Nițisor ran back to his position shaking his head. After 76 minutes, Sigvard Kinell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DZ Blue and the FC Buciumii players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Buciumii's Mugur Nițisor got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Börje Fristedt fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DZ Blue's protests and gave Börje Fristedt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Börje Fristedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Kinell got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sigvard Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Jakob Sjöö lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 86 minutes into the game, one of DZ Blue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isidoro Valentine went to the wrong direction when Dumitru Ghițulescu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Isidoro Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Balc in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of FC Buciumii booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Pavel Balc notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Buciumii booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Buciumii played a much better game than DZ Blue and deserved their victory. The DZ Blue players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
