The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toto Tualasamony took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Marques. Romeu Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 13th minute, M. Ramdhan Patirajawane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Planet Caravan from getting a goal against them. Planet Caravan were furious when Vitinho Silva was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Planet Caravan! After 21 minutes Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Romeu Marques managed, with a little bit of luck, save Toto Tualasamony's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Romeu Marques was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toto Tualasamony showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Suryo Zaelani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Valdomiro Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suryo Zaelani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isman Bajuri in the 36th minute. Romeu Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isman Bajuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gala's Toto Tualasamony slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeu Marques. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto Queirós made a kick off. Romeu Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toto Tualasamony, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toto Tualasamony in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goal looked a bit too open when Nick McDrain came free, but Romeu Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fitrah Bagjanata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gala made a substitution. Pendekar Ngantuk replaced M. Ramdhan Patirajawane. Planet Caravan's Wilian Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Tualasamony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pendekar Ngantuk in the 72nd minute of play. If Pendekar Ngantuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Isman Bajuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Planet Caravan defense, Pendekar Ngantuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Marques. The Planet Caravan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Marques should have stopped the shot. If Wilian Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pendekar Ngantuk in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Gala were the better team. Gala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
