But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ascencio Quintas couldn't finish the play. The Planet Caravan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Marques should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's Anísio Saraiva got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ascencio Quintas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ascencio Quintas ran back to his position shaking his head. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 81st minute of play. Romeu Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Jose-Manuel Jauregui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 88 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Manuel Jauregui came free, but Romeu Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Vetusta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Planet Caravan.
