Planet Caravan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bezek the free kick. After 13 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabian. Fiori Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asso Kullamaa having to interfere. Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lerych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Planet Caravan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Lerych in the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bezek's Asso Kullamaa got control of the ball when Gilvan Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fabian was the one to do the kick off. Barnaba Fedosz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Waldir Peres made a huge save. Damian Lerych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Peres having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Damian Lerych tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldir Peres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Waldir Peres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Fedosz in the 61st minute of play forced Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Peres had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Damian Lerych from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's Luís Fabian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asso Kullamaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Lerych got free with Waldir Peres in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Enrique de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lerych in the 80th minute of play.
