With an all-out effort, AL TOKE FC's Ciccio Tacconi threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquin Luken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ted Jansen made a great header on NFC Eagles 22's corner, it was just that AL TOKE FC's Denis Gilabert managed to reach the ball for a save. Denis Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Daszkowski in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tanek Daszkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Gilabert was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ciccio Tacconi made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Remo Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Ciccio Tacconi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remo Dracena in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Evelio Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Raymond Schouten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Dracena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Daszkowski in the 22nd minute of play forced AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Denis Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciccio Tacconi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Remo Dracena sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Luken in the 31st minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Tanek Daszkowski made a precise shot to the right of Denis Gilabert. AL TOKE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tanek Daszkowski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Gilabert. Denis Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Blasi in the 42nd minute of play. Ture Dybro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ciccio Tacconi made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Houwing came free, but Denis Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Raymond Schouten might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Gilabert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raymond Schouten ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciccio Tacconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Blasi in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Tanek Daszkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Denis Gilabert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emil Houwing took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Gilabert. Denis Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. AL TOKE FC made a substitution. David Gaizkine replaced Ture Dybro. Tanek Daszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurens Knol hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the game Ermegildo Orti made a throw-in which Evelio Blasi played forward. Denis Gilabert came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by NFC Eagles 22's Tanek Daszkowski. But to his dismay, Tanek Daszkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Denis Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Daszkowski in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match NFC Eagles 22 got a corner. AL TOKE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ted Jansen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AL TOKE FC's goalie and right to Raymond Schouten. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AL TOKE FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 86 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Daszkowski came free, but Denis Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, NFC Eagles 22's Tanek Daszkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Gilabert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Schouten got free with Denis Gilabert in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Niels-Jan Reiling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NFC Eagles 22's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
