With a little luck, Karaburun FC's Márk Pécsi got control of the ball when Cido Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Obrero Barquisimeto's Tifo Marinović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Christobal in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Karaburun FC's zone, Cido Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márk Pécsi came out of the goal and Cido Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márk Pécsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Cardozo scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márk Pécsi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Christobal in the 28th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The throw-in from Ahmet Ceyhan Acaröz in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Obrero Barquisimeto's Richie Vasaburu. 32 minutes into the match, Karaburun FC's goalkeeper Márk Pécsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Cardozo. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Paulo Antoñana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Antoñana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márk Pécsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Walkowski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cido Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Obrero Barquisimeto's Richie Vasaburu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Turgay Omural, made in the 51st minute of the game. If Cido Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bora Türehan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tifo Marinović firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esteve Palben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tifo Marinović made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Palben. After some careless play in the Karaburun FC defense, Cido Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márk Pécsi. The Karaburun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márk Pécsi should have stopped the shot. After 94 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Cido Cardozo. Obrero Barquisimeto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
