In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Stacy Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Gurbax Gascon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Pablo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Elliot Mercado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Rado came free, but Andy Hauser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirby Metzger hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half San Pablo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Black Knights FC made a substitution. Lincoln Downey replaced Kirby Metzger. The wind increased when Arturo Di Rado made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Arturo Di Rado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Hauser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elliot Mercado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Hauser having to make a save. San Pablo FC's Andy Hauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Mercado in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Black Knights FC got a corner. San Pablo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Di Rado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gurbax Gascon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacy Daniel having to interfere. Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Black Knights FC from getting a goal against them. San Pablo FC's Shen Xiang Chong was substituted for Gurbax Gascon. With a little luck, Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel got control of the ball when Shen Xiang Chong tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Rado came free, but Andy Hauser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Caracedo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Black Knights FC's Scottie Huston was substituted for Bartolo Ucero. Rodrigo Caracedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Denis Quintin in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Black Knights FC's Rodrigo Caracedo. Andy Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Di Rado, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Natalio Oliverio hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Pablo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
