After 2 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Nyström. Rickard Wiklund made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Stiliyan Bisharov sent off a good shot on target. Rickard Wiklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Tunberg went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Unesson came free, but Rickard Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Wiklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stiliyan Bisharov in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Emil Bohlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Koch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Odman took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans Koch. Frans Koch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Odman in the 19th minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Frans Koch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-2 became the score in the 20th minute when David Odman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 29th minute Royal Excel Mouscron were awarded a corner. Stiliyan Bisharov went to the cornerflag to take it. 31 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Unesson came free, but Rickard Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Wiklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Murray in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Rickard Wiklund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kristoffer Unesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Wiklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristoffer Unesson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 41st minute. After 44 minutes, Ludvig Hultman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Excel Mouscron and the Onsala Ass Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ludvig Hultman kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Onsala Ass Kickers's Vilhelm Ek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frans Koch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onsala Ass Kickers reached it. 47 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Tunberg came free, but Rickard Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonas Tunberg made the kick off in the second half. Frans Koch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frans Koch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Odman in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Frans Koch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Brogren. After a rather tough play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Ludvig Hultman got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Onsala Ass Kickers defense, Jonas Tunberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Wiklund. The Onsala Ass Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Wiklund should have stopped the shot. When Jonas Tunberg came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Royal Excel Mouscron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Tunberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vincent Nyström hit a great ball. Börje Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Royal Excel Mouscron had played much better football throughout.
