Edgar Poe was a little too slow when Arturo Di Rado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Stacy Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Bergdal in the 23rd minute of play. Arturo Di Rado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edgar Poe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Poe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Wolff, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Royal Excel Mouscron's goalie and right to Arturo Di Rado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Royal Excel Mouscron's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arturo Di Rado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Edgar Poe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Tyrone Wolff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stacy Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Krankl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stacy Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Kunze, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Black Knights FC made a substitution. Scottie Huston replaced Lincoln Downey. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Kunze was the one to do the kick off. Stacy Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysmael Wanne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Di Rado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Poe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Arturo Di Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Di Rado in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Poe saved Royal Excel Mouscron from getting behind. In the 64th minute of the game Kenneth Gabrielsson made a throw-in which Hannes Bergdal played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Rado in the 66th minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Edgar Poe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Ysmael Wanne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Black Knights FC's Arturo Di Rado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Poe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Black Knights FC's Elliot Mercado was substituted for Arturo Di Rado. Black Knights FC made a substitution. Boyce Garza replaced Kirby Metzger. Kenneth Gabrielsson made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hannes Bergdal however managed to control. Black Knights FC's Tyrone Wolff got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Royal Excel Mouscron getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kenneth Gabrielsson hit a great ball. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Mercado in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Elliot Mercado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Poe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Knights FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
