In the 9th minute, Elvison Presley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gurbax Gascon took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Poe. Edgar Poe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edgar Poe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gurbax Gascon in the 17th minute of the match. Gurbax Gascon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Poe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Gurbax Gascon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Poe. Royal Excel Mouscron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gurbax Gascon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Andy Hauser made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Frank Kunze sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes, Ludvig Hultman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Excel Mouscron and the San Pablo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Elpidio Jerold sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe didn't even have to move. In the 46th minute, Gurbax Gascon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Kunze made a kick off. Andy Hauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysmael Wanne in the 51st minute of the match. Karl-Johan Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Pablo FC booed when Royal Excel Mouscron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gurbax Gascon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Poe having to interfere. Edgar Poe made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Gurbax Gascon sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gurbax Gascon got free with Edgar Poe in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Pablo FC's 沈翔崇 was substituted for Gurbax Gascon. In the 68th minute of the match San Pablo FC got a corner. Royal Excel Mouscron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Jerold ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ludvig Hultman got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Marco Mussies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Edgar Poe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Murray's late challenge caught a San Pablo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Murray helped the player get up and apologised. Kevin Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes, San Pablo FC's Elpidio Jerold shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Poe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Pablo FC reached it. Edgar Poe made an important save on a dangerous shot by 沈翔崇 in the 82nd minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
