The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romulo Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Cesario in the 10th minute of play forced ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feyzullay İltemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ferran in the 11th minute of play. Jose Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakes Arenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes LİONS PEAK got a freekick which was hit by Jakes Arenas. In the 19th minute Steve Burmeister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyzullay İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nereo Serapio in the 20th minute. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ from getting a goal against them. After 22nd play minutes Gilbert Lange shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jose Nuñez and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

LİONS PEAK made a substitution. Vecdi Heper replaced Attila Szalai. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Ferran to make the kick off.
