Grzegorz Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Godfredo Bento made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Baldomero Sugoi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Turok.
