Tiger Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martins Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Mordham FC's Ronny Tubbs got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ben Dunn hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Gavino Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fecha Libre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Hodei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiger Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 25th minute of the match. Martins Palermo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiger Kahn. Tiger Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Horseman came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 34th minute of play. Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Mordham FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Tubbs. In the 47th minute Gary Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mordham FC's attack was well implemented in the 47th minute, but when Albert Osmond was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Martins Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiger Kahn having to make a save. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Proctor in the 55th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Byrne in the 56th minute of play. Tiger Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martins Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mordham FC's goalie and right to Kamiel Stessel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mordham FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Mordham FC's Garth Stockton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Mordham FC got a freekick which was hit by Garth Stockton. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Proctor in the 68th minute of play. Ben Dunn made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Donny Proctor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Byrne in the 73rd minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Stockton made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fecha Libre's Rodolfo Manni. 80 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiger Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igli Tare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Proctor in the 85th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Fecha Libre's Igli Tare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiger Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Everardo Ellande hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
