The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Nazeer Mhlathe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhang Hong Xun. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazeer Mhlathe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazeer Mhlathe in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Nazeer Mhlathe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhang Hong Xun was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Nazeer Mhlathe made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celil Sahir got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nazeer Mhlathe. After the first half Jordan F1 91-05 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ethan Stiles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jordan F1 91-05's Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 55 minutes into the match, Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhang Hong Xun. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Jordan F1 91-05's Nazeer Mhlathe got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Nazeer Mhlathe sped through FC Shakhtar Donetsk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zhang Hong Xun. Zhang Hong Xun made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Nazeer Mhlathe sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th match minute, FC Shakhtar Donetsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Blake to maneuver through the defense. Nazeer Mhlathe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zhang Hong Xun made a huge save. Zhang Hong Xun made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mathias-Alexander Kaisersberger sent off a good shot on target. Jordan F1 91-05's Szczepan Szablewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donny Sheringham in the 75 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Nazeer Mhlathe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zhang Hong Xun, 0-8. Zhang Hong Xun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazeer Mhlathe went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. After 81 minutes of play, Jordan F1 91-05's Nazeer Mhlathe made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhang Hong Xun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86 minutes, Nazeer Mhlathe made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Nazeer Mhlathe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Jordan F1 91-05 got a freekick which was hit by Björn Carlsson.
