Ádám Pető hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Mátyás Pál struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jimeno Quico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veresi Új Generáció. Alexei's Jimeno Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Gelencsér in the 11th minute of play. Veresi Új Generáció's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hauk Almli in the 13th minute. Hauk Almli made a great header on Veresi Új Generáció's corner, it was just that Alexei's Jimeno Quico managed to reach the ball for a save. Mátyás Pál fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Quico having to interfere. Jimeno Quico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mátyás Gelencsér's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Alexei's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Gelencsér came free, but Jimeno Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Mátyás Gelencsér made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alexei's Jimeno Quico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29thth minute of the game Mátyás Gelencsér who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexei's Jimeno Quico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Lénárd Erdélyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Quexal. When Mátyás Gelencsér came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Veresi Új Generáció fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mátyás Gelencsér couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Veresi Új Generáció's goalkeeper Lénárd Erdélyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Quexal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mátyás Gelencsér was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Alexei getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bienvenido Lejosne hit a great ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Mátyás Gelencsér managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veresi Új Generáció's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mátyás Gelencsér was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veresi Új Generáció made a substitution. Ferenc Sipos replaced Mátyás Pál. Jimeno Quico made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mátyás Gelencsér sent off a good shot on target. Veresi Új Generáció's Mátyás Gelencsér got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mátyás Gelencsér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimeno Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Gelencsér, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mátyás Gelencsér's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Jimeno Quico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alexei's Jimeno Quico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Alexei from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferenc Sipos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jimeno Quico. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. The supporters of Alexei booed when Veresi Új Generáció was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Gelencsér didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Alexei's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mátyás Gelencsér fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 92 played minutes Veresi Új Generáció got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Sipos. The Veresi Új Generáció supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Veresi Új Generáció would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
