Mahmud Alp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Viator in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. The supporters of ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. booed when Perros del sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Chu Zhen Xun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eulalio Faron but with some difficulty. Chu Zhen Xun struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eulalio Faron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abubakar Kamarád made the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chu Zhen Xun. If Abubakar Kamarád had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eulalio Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abubakar Kamarád in the 67th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Abubakar Kamarád came free, but Eulalio Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Perros del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Cesario to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goalkeeper Mahmud Alp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perros del sur's Eulalio Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Zhen Xun in the 81st minute of play. If Chu Zhen Xun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute, Chu Zhen Xun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 89th minute Marcos Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmud Alp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Perros del sur were awarded a corner. Wilfredo Rayman went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd minute, Chu Zhen Xun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Faron was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Perros del sur's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
