Arneil Trossero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arneil Trossero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Bergdal in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Adam Bergdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, AFC - Curitiba's Zhang Yin Si ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Rômulo Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Bergdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Bergdal in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Blixt in the 28th minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Fausto da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Bergdal's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Stenman in the 30th minute of play. Arneil Trossero came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski. But to his dismay, Jan Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Zhang Yin Si had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arneil Trossero. I Rossoneri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhang Yin Si was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Zhang Yin Si took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Arneil Trossero to make any attempt to save it. Matouš Carda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arneil Trossero came out and tried to block the shot, but Matouš Carda slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute.

After some careless play in the I Rossoneri defense, Romário Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arneil Trossero. The I Rossoneri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arneil Trossero should have stopped the shot. Arneil Trossero came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's August Wahlnäs. But to his dismay, August Wahlnäs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 61 minutes into the match, August Wahlnäs notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Edvin Blixt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matouš Carda in the 69th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, I Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Matouš Carda came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, I Rossoneri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Blixt to maneuver through the defense. Matouš Carda scored 10-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arneil Trossero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, I Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Bykowski came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of I Rossoneri booed when AFC - Curitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Skoglund in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC - Curitiba fans cheered their team off the field, for while I Rossoneri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
