Joga Hem FC's Evert Lenberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kasper Schmeichel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Wennerquist in the 10th minute of play forced Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Urban Wennerquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Urban Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Lenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Squadra Sulista defense, Urban Wennerquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Schmeichel. The Squadra Sulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes in the game Felippe Monteiro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Yuri Teixeira. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pete Luna made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Joga Hem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Carvalho came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles da Silva in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Urban Wennerquist notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Squadra Sulista's Kasper Schmeichel. Kasper Schmeichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joshua Barfield hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Kasper Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Byth, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Squadra Sulista's Kasper Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Sulista from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Yuri Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joga Hem FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
