The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Cipriano Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Bernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Belasko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Bernat ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Bernat went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Filiberto Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Guillermo Miliano got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximo Cutberto hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Vincent in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Flor in the 36th minute of play. When Gaspar Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Galáctico Azul FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Bernat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Cipriano Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papato Tatengue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cipriano Bernat struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Enrique Belasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papato Tatengue. Enrique Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Derwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galáctico Azul FC™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papato Tatengue the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Edelmiro Derwin got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Cipriano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Belasko came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat. But to his dismay, Cipriano Bernat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 80 minutes of play, Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Cipriano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the game, Cipriano Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Enrique Belasko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Bernat came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Bernat in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Vincent got free with Filiberto Luke in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
